Brighton head into their FA Cup quarter final in fantastic form having headed into last week's international break with seven wins and a draw from their last eight matches, only failing to win in that run against four-time defending Premier League champions, Manchester City.

13 points from Fabian Hurzeler's side's last five league games has lifted the Seagulls up to seventh in the table, where they sit only two points off the top four and just a solitary point behind fifth place, which is expected to be enough to secure Champions League football next season.

The Sussex side have already had to knock heavy hitters Chelsea and Newcastle out of the FA Cup ahead of Saturday's quarter final against high-flying Forest, and will be looking to book themselves a trip to Wembley for their third semi final appearance in seven years.

With quite a week field of teams in the last eight of the FA Cup this season, it really does feel like it's anyone's trophy to win, leaving the possibility for Brighton to secure themselves the club's first ever major trophy in its 123-year history.

Nottingham Forest make the trip down to the south coast on Saturday evening in good form of their own having won their last three matches prior to the international break, keeping hold of their incredible third place position in the Premier League with only nine games of the season remaining.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side are currently five points clear of Chelsea who are just one place below them and seven clear of Newcastle in sixth, which is expected to be the first spot to miss out on Champions League football this season.

The East Midlands side have needed penalty shoot outs to progress through each of their last two FA Cup ties, knocking out Exeter and Ipswich in the process, leaving them just three wins away from a first major trophy since winning the League Cup in 1990.

11 goals have been scored in the two Premier League meetings between the two sides, where a 2-2 draw on the south coast was followed up by a 7-0 defeat for the Seagulls at the City Ground, which ironically was their last game before they embarked on their current run of seven wins in their last eight games, drawing the other.
