Exacta

Diamond Dice has seen his form boosted heavily since his maiden hurdle win at Ludlow in February.

Second placed Hamsiyann went on to place well behind Royal Way on Monday, while third placed Golden Maverick went on to win last week at Haydock.

Diamond Dice's victory came despite carrying 12lb extra than those two rivals and could be underestimated for this as he has to give away 7lb to Ryan's Rocket.

The Fergal O'Brien-trained horse who placed second on his hurdle debut behind Fiercely Proud.

Fiercely Proud won by just under a length but did seem to always be doing enough as the favourite ahead of the 50/1 shot.

That horse went on to place behind Jeriko Du Reponet in January and then Lump Sum at Kempton in Grade 2 hurdle contests.

While that form is encouraging and impressive it may still not be enough to beat the unexposed Diamond Dice.

Which is why a combined exacta looks the ideal way to go betting-wise rather than hoping too much on a heavy odds-on shot, which should pay out nicely amongst the 14 runner field.

King Turgeon

Each time the favourite has had a race come within 12 days of his last run, he's not won and only once placed a close second.

He ran twice in the space of 12 days last season which ended in a distant fourth at Newbury.

He will have a tough time of things on the back of that while also upped 7lb for his latest victory while carrying 12-3, the top weight of the field.

King Turgeon looks great at a price each-way, despite his last three runs, he's back on good to soft, only 3lb higher than his last win and has Jack Tudor back on board too who's been rattling home the winners recently.

So has trainer David Pipe, with two winners with his last five runners and the majority running to form.

The grey gelding is only six, but has 14 runs under rules and should be taken seriously if putting the last couple runs behind him.

Celtic Art

Trainer Jeremy Scott has four winners from nine runners in the last two weeks to give him a prominent 44% strike-rate.

He sends out Celtic Art, the seven-year-old former flat runner for Paul & Oliver Cole.

He's taken to hurdles well and has continually shown promise, even in defeat.

Seems to have put his pulled up efforts behind him now with a few finishes and even a win at Lingfield.

Stayed on well to challenge up in a Class 3 last time over course and distance despite being the 22/1 shot.

Installed here as a 10/3 contender in what looks to be a wide open race despite only having five runners, with three potential co-favourites.

Celtic Art takes on a tough mare in Amelia's Dance who's continually in the top three, but still rarely wins.

While Toonagh Warrior is stepping up in grade and away from novice company which could prove tougher too.

Impulsive One

Nab Wood ran well to win last time out at Kelso tipped at 9/4.

But that was over further and has to drop down a touch in distance, upped 8lb for that win and up in class.

Though he's still unexposed there's potential for a big shock in the prices with Impulsive One appealing each-way for small stakes.

He's hit the crossbar a couple times over hurdles and is on his third run since having a wind op.

Down 1lb for that third place while carrying top-weight at Sedgefield but shouldn't be discounted at 22/1.
