These came seem like that indeed, but These are just the opposite to being showy and celebrating too early. They're a rallying call to the lads to show them just how much the fans are behind them. In fact, I think I'm right in saying last year against Exeter. The players said it gave them an extra few per cent after seeing it.
Anyway, if you're in Ipswich on Saturday folks, head along and enjoy the ride. I'll be cheering on from Orkney.

I don’t want to be a party pooper but didn’t the management suggest that the coach greeting prior to the Norwich match was a distraction to the team ? We haven’t achieved promotion yet and anything that disrupts the players focus is to be discouraged. I will be celebrating as wildly as any other supporter once we have actually secured promotion but I won’t be attending any pre match “celebration” if it actually risks adversely affecting the squads concentration on the matter in hand. It’s just a personal opinion but why add that element of risk? Also, have Blue Action actually asked the club if such a pre match celebration is welcomed ?

Absolutely stupid idea. The message it sends to Huddersfield is the best motivation their manager could ask for. "look at Ipswich celebrating before we've even played the"
Hopefully and logically we should get the job done and then we can let rip but hopefully sense will prevail and the coach greeting will be called off.

Why the hell do you want to disrupt the players match day routines?
Some might have a match day routine where they just like to sit in peace on the coach?

This is the last thing they need when they are in 'the zone' ready for a big match.
This game is big enough for them without all these distractions before kick off.
Let them arrive at the ground like any other game.

You have plenty of time to show your support during and after the game.

Why all the complaints? It was done last year and we were 5 up after half an hour!!

Stupid idea, did we learn nothing from the Norwich game. Like most of Blue Action's moves, it's mostly based on self-promotion.

We've done this twice so far.
Last season against Exeter, when we needed to win (even a draw would have been enough because of goal difference), and we were 5-0 up before half time.
Then against Norwich, who we also battered in that first half and were unlucky not to be 4-0 up after 35 minutes.
Regardless of the admittance of distraction, it has clearly given our players that edge for those first 30 minutes both times.
As a result, I disagree with the majority opinion here.

100% no to this, stupid idea, we need to go about our business in a quiet and unassuming manner! I still feel totally embarrassed by the Norwich pre match greeting. As has been mentioned this is a great way to motivate the opposition!

Celebrate afterwards if it goes well. Horrendous idea!

Nearly there now we need to focus the welcome shows what it means to everyone but has anyone contacted the club to hear the team and management views if they are happy lets make the skies blue otherwise just make the stadium rock. All I keep hearing everywhere, in media, is “Ipswich only need 1 point to secure promotion “, etc, etc…. It’s beginning to feel like a heavy weight now.

We MUST respect Huddersfield Town. They are fighting for their survival , however slim. They bullied us off the park at their place earlier in the season, and I’m expecting more of the same Saturday. We don’t tend to fair too well against physical teams, so we need to be aware of their threat.

PLEASE PEOPLE….. do not celebrate, what we haven’t yet achieved!!!!

Foreverthebeat…. Please don’t forget about the 1992 team that actually won the then Div 2, as it was known, and became one the the forming teams of the very first season of the Premiership!!!

Silly idea for silly little boys. Its a fake show of passion from the attention seeking youtube wannabees with their dopey banners and pretty coloured flares. Thank Christ this lot weren't around in the 70s. Even the Ipswich fans would have beaten them up. On top of that we're dealing with hyped up young men with limited intelligence who wouldn't have the mental capacity to deal with the situation should things take a turn for the worst of Saturday. Celebrate after the event. Like the rest of us on planet earth, even the playing staff find this arrogant, unnecessary, and a distraction. But,unfortunately, pork cannot be educated.

Some people seem to be misinterpreting this. It is not a pre-emptive celebration but merely to great the team in what may be the last game of the season It is not an arrogant assumption that the job is done or that we will definitely get the point we need. We went on to beat Exeter six nil and actually played well against Norwich. The desstraction was Delia.

Feel it a really bad idea, unwanted pressure, let the team go about thier business as per normal, support loud and hard from stands and hopefully celebrate then, you are giving Huddersfield their team talk!!!

I will be a massive stick to beat us with if we fail on Saturday!
Should we get promotion greet the team for the first home game next season, not now it’s ridiculous and I will go nowhere near this pathetic spectacle on Saturday, it’s like brenner woolly talking about outcomes before the end, commentators curse .

We have gone through the season in a quietly confident manner, for a long time no one giving us a chance of promotion, please keep up the class with which we have used so far!
